Well, welcome to blogging! Assuming this is your first blog. It really is a lot of fun and I love the title and header. I have a book lying around somewhere called The Mathemagician or something of that nature. Or maybe it is Mathemagic. I don’t know. But the kids really like it.
Being a magician’s assistant sounds really cool, so long as you don’t get sawed in half.
Hi, Lynn! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your new blog looks great. We do seem to have a lot in common, even if you are a math girl and I’m into English.
I can totally relate on looking young. I started teaching high school freshman when I was 22. I was constantly being stopped and yelled at by other teachers who thought I was a student. My husband looks young, too. We attended a graduation reception for 2 of the girls in our youth group this weekend. Some woman at the reception asked my husband, who is 34 years old, if he was also one of the graduating seniors! I don’t think he was too amused that someone thought he was in high school!
I’ve always looked younger than I am – or have been told that. I think people are just shocked that I have an almost 19 year old!!! Of course, we started early but that’s life!!
I just wanted to stop by to say hello and to thank you for the lovely comment you left for me on my blog. Like you, I would love to be more “crafty”! The little hat that you knit for your niece is just precious! I think you are well on your way to having an Etsy store.

I hear ya on the crafty thing! I dabble here and there, but I don’t really consider myself a master of anything. I’ve been trying some new stuff lately, though; it’s mostly sewing, which I’m just learning to do.
I’m quite impressed by that crocheted hat you made!
Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time! I think it’s great that you love playing games so much. Not only do you look young, but you will always stay young at heart, too, if you continue to “play”! Fun photos!
Beautiful photos! I would love to hear about some of your “tricks”. I play around with photography, and my second daughter is going to major in it in college. She already has her own website(much nicer than mine:)), and has even gotten paid to do some shoots. Your black kitty looks just like my Harley, but he has a white spot on his neck.
My in-laws used to live in Ohio. Once when my hubby and I visited them, his mom treated us to the Cincinnati Zoo. She drove, Hubs sat in the passenger seat, and I was in the back. As we pulled up to the ticket window, the attendant asked, “Two adults and one child?”
When my first daughter was a baby, I was constantly mistaken for her babysitter. THAT was annoying.
So, yeah, I understand the I’m twenty-five-but-I-look-15 issues. Of course, now I’m 31 and I don’t mind being mistaken for a 25 year old.
I LOVE your blog header with all the math “stuff!” I hated math in High School and failed Algebra but after getting married and having 2 kids I decided to go to community college and found that math wasn’t my enemy after all… so I got a degree in engineering Thanks for the friendly comment on my blog. I need to check your blog out
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I bookmarked you! Thanks for your suggestions on that dang math problem. Math is taught so different now than it was when I was in 3rd grade 20 some odd years ago. Regrouping, expanded form numbers, etc. Im so lost!! Ill be back to read more and ask math questions should they arise.

I was just catching up on your summer and it sounds like you had a really nice one. I am sorry that things have been so difficult for you during the past week. I am very sorry about all of your losses. Sometimes life just slams us and there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do about it but pray. I am glad that you take such comfort in God. He helps us to see all of the beauty that is around us even in the midst of pain.
I loved looking at your photos. The baby is adorable, and your niece is absolutely precious! I also think that my second daughter who just left for college is taking the math class that you are teaching. Not everyone is good at math, as you know. She has always struggled with it and will be very happy when she never has to take another math class again. I do give you a lot of credit for working with kids who have such a difficult time processing math! I can imagine how frustrating that must be for you, too!
What an adorable LO for such a cute baby!! I LOVE the band outfit! You left out double first cousins on your list….. Double first cousins arise when two siblings reproduce with another set of siblings and the resulting children are related to each other through both parents’ families.
Oh my word. What an adorable baby. My 17 year old daughter plans to be a band director. She is drum major this year. She would love that doll in that outfit.

It takes imagination to integrate complicated functions! Creativity is inherent in proofs. Mathematics is true creativity. The constraints under which mathematicians labor encourage more creativity than were it that mathematics had no constraints.
I do not think that you have lost your imagination; from where else would stinky Rodian food have come?
I know that the designers I work with, as far as blogs go, really only make me headers… maybe a background, and a signature… so you can stop worrying about that….
and if you just put out feelers, well, what’s the worse that can happen? How many moms are out there that LOVE scrapbooking and would love a header…
the best way is word of mouth… so you could always find a scrapping blog and offer to do a header for free and see what they think…
and you taught me something… I’ve got your list and I’ll be working on it…

LOL that’s why I didn’t become a math teacher! I don’t have patience most of the time LOL I LOVE math and just “get it” and I can remember being in HS and getting so frustrated when people didn’t…and even now when I try to help the kids with homework, I have to watch myself LOL And both my older kids hate math, drives me crazy haha. A blog header design is a great giveaway. Changing up the blog look can be time consuming sometimes and having something already waiting would be great. The scrapping look is awesome too. Yours turned out great.

I soooo don’t have a math mind, so I’m thinking that even with a million at stake I would still struggle greatly. But I guess it would motivate me to seek out tutors and extra help. I know that often when I was having issues in any other of my classes I would try to get help, but often just gave up on math. Sad isn’t it.

I’m just thrilled that the election is finally going to be over after all these great many months of the lead-up to the primaries, the primaries, the election campaign and then the election and vote-counting itself. At long last, the news media will be able to get back to reporting on their usual fare of murder, mayhem, raping, pillaging and other similarly highly entertaining news stories. It’s about time.
When its actually my birthday and I have to write the date I never put the correct year it is at this point I always put 1968 (the year I was born) lol I thought when 2000 rolled around I wouldnt do that any more but I was wrong.

AMEN Lynn… my Dad fought on the beaches of Normandy, and I gotta say… I never met a more proud man, to have served our country! The military men and women of our country were and are the backbone of this great UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA! With my son and daughter-in-law, both serving in IRAQ, my prayers are always directed to these great soldiers…. GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY!!!
Your grandpa was truly unique. It was a privilege to have assisted–if only in a very small way–in caring for him.

Sorry to hear about the snow. It’s just cold down here. But we did have black ice Monday night and they closed down lots of the freeways cuz of accidents. I guess it’s better to go slow then end up in the ditch. Sometimes I think people forget that fact.

At all cost???? LOL I’m sure that it’s not a problem as long as you root for OSU. I found out long ago I hated being a football widow so I learned the game and actually enjoyed it. Now I know about as much as most men.
I was sooooo amazed at your first layout. I was thinking you were born to digiscrap, especially since you did such an awesome job with the extraction. Then you got me with admitting the late shadow addition, lol. Still a great page with great feel. My first is a total joke and I’d say it took a month before I realized how to add shadows and then another few months before I found I could adjust them.

When I find myself drained I switch, haven’t designed all week, but did a few pages (most of which I hated) and now I hope to get back to designs.
And your page is gorgeous!!!!!!! Never, ever put your abilities down like that again. Don’t make me come up there and kick your butt. Both of you intimidate me and my pages look amaturish compaired to you both.

It make some days that i try to registered, apparently i’am registered, but in end of a list. I don’t understand why it take so many times for be registered and to can obtain the magnific kit of Pin-Nic. It’s the first time that it’s so complicated. I’m desapointed. I’m 17 year old boy and 6′3″. I only weigh 11 stone and i want to get bigger. I already take whey protein after a workout but i haven’t got any bigger in 2 months. Well, welcome to blogging! Assuming this is your first blog. It really is a lot of fun and I love the title and header. I have a book lying around somewhere called The Mathemagician or something of that nature. Or maybe it is Mathemagic. I don’t know. But the kids really like it.
Being a magician’s assistant sounds really cool, so long as you don’t get sawed in half.
Hi, Lynn! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your new blog looks great. We do seem to have a lot in common, even if you are a math girl and I’m into English.
I can totally relate on looking young. I started teaching high school freshman when I was 22. I was constantly being stopped and yelled at by other teachers who thought I was a student. My husband looks young, too. We attended a graduation reception for 2 of the girls in our youth group this weekend. Some woman at the reception asked my husband, who is 34 years old, if he was also one of the graduating seniors! I don’t think he was too amused that someone thought he was in high school!
What about cats?
I’ve always looked younger than I am – or have been told that. I think people are just shocked that I have an almost 19 year old!!! Of course, we started early but that’s life!!

Beautiful photos! I would love to hear about some of your “tricks”. I play around with photography, and my second daughter is going to major in it in college. She already has her own website(much nicer than mine:)), and has even gotten paid to do some shoots. Your black kitty looks just like my Harley, but he has a white spot on his neck.

My in-laws used to live in Ohio. Once when my hubby and I visited them, his mom treated us to the Cincinnati Zoo. She drove, Hubs sat in the passenger seat, and I was in the back. As we pulled up to the ticket window, the attendant asked, “Two adults and one child?”
When my first daughter was a baby, I was constantly mistaken for her babysitter. THAT was annoying.
So, yeah, I understand the I’m twenty-five-but-I-look-15 issues. Of course, now I’m 31 and I don’t mind being mistaken for a 25 year old.
Wow, what a great camp. I *love* the idea of actually working with kids to train them to be leaders – that’s fantastic!

I LOVE your blog header with all the math “stuff!” I hated math in High School and failed Algebra but after getting married and having 2 kids I decided to go to community college and found that math wasn’t my enemy after all… so I got a degree in engineering

I was just catching up on your summer and it sounds like you had a really nice one. I am sorry that things have been so difficult for you during the past week. I am very sorry about all of your losses. Sometimes life just slams us and there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do about it but pray. I am glad that you take such comfort in God. He helps us to see all of the beauty that is around us even in the midst of pain.
I loved looking at your photos. The baby is adorable, and your niece is absolutely precious! I also think that my second daughter who just left for college is taking the math class that you are teaching. Not everyone is good at math, as you know. She has always struggled with it and will be very happy when she never has to take another math class again. I do give you a lot of credit for working with kids who have such a difficult time processing math! I can imagine how frustrating that must be for you, too!
I hope that things get better for you soon.

You left out double first cousins on your list….. Double first cousins arise when two siblings reproduce with another set of siblings and the resulting children are related to each other through both parents’ families.

I know that the designers I work with, as far as blogs go, really only make me headers… maybe a background, and a signature… so you can stop worrying about that….
and if you just put out feelers, well, what’s the worse that can happen? How many moms are out there that LOVE scrapbooking and would love a header…
the best way is word of mouth… so you could always find a scrapping blog and offer to do a header for free and see what they think…
and you taught me something… I’ve got your list and I’ll be working on it…

LOL that’s why I didn’t become a math teacher! I don’t have patience most of the time LOL I LOVE math and just “get it” and I can remember being in HS and getting so frustrated when people didn’t…and even now when I try to help the kids with homework, I have to watch myself LOL And both my older kids hate math, drives me crazy haha. I’ve been under the water for some time, and even though I’m not feeling more than just “ok” I am getting back there, slowly. Thank you for keeping the posts coming on the scrappinsquad blog. I’m just thrilled that the election is finally going to be over after all these great many months of the lead-up to the primaries, the primaries, the election campaign and then the election and vote-counting itself. At long last, the news media will be able to get back to reporting on their usual fare of murder, mayhem, raping, pillaging and other similarly highly entertaining news stories. It’s about time.
When its actually my birthday and I have to write the date I never put the correct year it is at this point I always put 1968 (the year I was born) lol I thought when 2000 rolled around I wouldnt do that any more but I was wrong.

At all cost???? LOL I’m sure that it’s not a problem as long as you root for OSU. I found out long ago I hated being a football widow so I learned the game and actually enjoyed it. Now I know about as much as most men.
I was sooooo amazed at your first layout. I was thinking you were born to digiscrap, especially since you did such an awesome job with the extraction. Then you got me with admitting the late shadow addition, lol. Still a great page with great feel. My first is a total joke and I’d say it took a month before I realized how to add shadows and then another few months before I found I could adjust them.
Hope you didn’t get buried in the snow. Enjoy the weekend, well after you get back from the dentist.

Don’t get discouraged, even though it’s incredibly easy to do so. Just scrap and design and have fun. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
I know how hard it is to go back to work after a long weekend, I can’t imagine after a 5 week break. Good luck with that.
Math-wise I’m sure you’ll do fine! If you aren’t sure about the CU items post or or two as freebies to see what reaction you get…
ADSR is about stretching – not being disqualified. You may have to re-do a LO, but nothing says you have to like the second one better!

It make some days that i try to registered, apparently i’am registered, but in end of a list. I don’t understand why it take so many times for be registered and to can obtain the magnific kit of Pin-Nic. It’s the first time that it’s so complicated. I’m desapointed. I’m 17 year old boy and 6′3″. I only weigh 11 stone and i want to get bigger. I already take whey protein after a workout but i haven’t got any bigger in 2 months.
